Job Title: SQL Server Physical Database Developer

Qualifications:
The SQL Server team manages approximately 175 Applications with some of the more notable ones being 1) Session State -- critical for web apps, 2) Legal, 3) API and Workload Management-- data marts for all sorts of reporting, 4) Actuary, 5) ECRM, 6) SF Bank Applications, 7) Office Communications Server, and CorpTax. These applications encompass at least 400 production instances with over 3,000 application databases along with development and simulated production environments. We are managing over 6 Terabytes (TB) of database space. SQL Server continues to be an important DBMS, along with DB2, IMS and Oracle.
We are looking for individuals that enjoy working in the Windows environment and have a desire to complete technical tasks and provide excellent customer service at a fast pace. Approximately 19 Data Specialists (internal and external) make up the SQL Server Product Support team and SQL Server DBA Service team.
